This "blog" is largely out of operation. I post most of my cat-related and dog-related things over at bainbooks.com anymore, but there are still a lot of references to this page floating around, including a great mass of bookmarks I've been handing out at schools recently. Mr Moor · « Twice dayly our cats gather in the kitchen for their breakfast and dinner. I never have to call anyone, they are there! Impatiently walking around while I fill their bowls.

I have to wait and watch everyone while they eat, Foppe is always done first and just chases someone else away so he can finish their bowls too.
It takes some organzing but it's my favorite time of the day with our cats:-)

We are sometimes under the impression that the world would be a better place if it were designed this way, will all that is up turned down, and all this is down turned up. But then it seems once we are used to it, the opposite seems true, and we right ourselves, and it has been worth it to revisit this position. For the moment. Until we must perform the ritual again.

Annex Cat Rescue _ Toronto (hosted by Surly Bratt) · « 7 yr old China was saved along with her litter but alas she didn't get adopted with them. She's been in foster care for a long time learning how to trust people. Still a bit shy she likes to be around her foster folk and has taken to sleeping in the bedroom with them. She would do best in a quiet understanding home with maybe one or two laid back kitties for friends. She's come a long way. Please give her a chance.

Magellan and Shiloh are the most wonderful kittens you could ever imagine! They were rescued from living under a shed in mid-May at about four weeks old. They have grown into beautiful kittens that are very trusting of people. Magellan (the only boy) enjoys playing rough, and also likes his quiet time with his person. Shiloh is a dainty little lady who enjoys being held and will lie on her back and be held like a baby. These sweethearts deserve the very best after such a rough start in life.
