This "blog" is largely out of operation. I post most of my cat-related and dog-related things over at bainbooks.com anymore, but there are still a lot of references to this page floating around, including a great mass of bookmarks I've been handing out at schools recently. Mr Moor · « Twice dayly our cats gather in the kitchen for their breakfast and dinner. I never have to call anyone, they are there! Impatiently walking around while I fill their bowls.

I have to wait and watch everyone while they eat, Foppe is always done first and just chases someone else away so he can finish their bowls too.
It takes some organzing but it's my favorite time of the day with our cats:-)

We are sometimes under the impression that the world would be a better place if it were designed this way, will all that is up turned down, and all this is down turned up. But then it seems once we are used to it, the opposite seems true, and we right ourselves, and it has been worth it to revisit this position. For the moment. Until we must perform the ritual again.

The warmth of this place is at odds with current weather conditions, and we are oddly drawn to the awareness of our surroundings and how we cannot approach them, though we can watch them. How odd. So very odd indeed.

We would very much like to have our head out of this container, but there is just that much more ice cream at the bottom and we will wait until it is finished and no, we are not currently concerned with our pride, thank you, as we are well aware that we are perfectly gorgeous no matter what we wear over our face.
